Australia Tour Update from Hamza Andreas Tzortzis.
The final city I visited was Perth. On Sunday I delivered the AlKauthar Institute "Dawah Power" course. This course teaches how to articulate and convey the message of Islam in a warm, compassionate and cogent way. The following day I delivered a lecture entitled "Islam: The Rational Choice", followed by a traditional Australian BBQ. In the evening I recorded a few videos for AlKauthar Institute and Islaam Production. The videos were on knowledge, liberty and love. These videos should be available within one week, insha'Allah. The Sydney debate video should also be out soon, I received a message that the brothers were rendering the video, so it shouldn't be long now. All the other videos of the various lectures will be posted here once they become available, insha'Allah.
This marks the end of the Australia tour. I visited 5 cities, delivered various courses, participated in lively debates, delivered a range of lectures, and engaged with the public by conveying and demystifying the message of Islam on the streets of Australia. I would like to thank AlKauthar Institute who organised the whole tour. Their team leaders and volunteers are second to none and make you feel as if you are at home. The brotherhood, love, tolerance and hospitality I received and experienced was phenomenal. I would also like to thank all the organisations, including all of the Muslim Student Associations, for their support and their help in making this tour possible. May Allah bless everyone and shower them with His love, forgiveness and mercy. May Allah accept all of our good deeds and forgive us for our shortcomings.
After having travelled various continents and visited many countries, I am really starting to see a mass movement in reviving intellectual and normative Islam. This movement is also focussed on action, taking the concept of Islam and its core message to the wider society. Having met and instructed thousands of Muslims, I can only see a bright future, where Islam will become the intellectual, spiritual and social movement it once was, to facilitate the much needed peace, justice, compassion and harmony on this planet.
