عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ الْحَيَاءُ وَالْعِيُّ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ الإِيمَانِ وَالْبَذَاءُ وَالْبَيَانُ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ
Abu Umamah narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: “Al-Haya' (modesty) and Al-'Iy (less talk) are two branches of faith, and Al-Badha' (obscene talk) and Al-Bayan (too much talk) are two branches of hypocrisy.”
حضرت ابوامامہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ سے روایت ہے کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا حیاء اور کم گوئی ایمان کے دو شعبے ہیں۔ فحش گوئی اور زیادہ باتیں کرنا نفاق کے شعبے ہیں۔
