Manners of visiting others: Lowering the gaze and not looking at the private things in the house and shunning embarrassing intrusions. 'Umar ibn Al-Khattaab said: "He who (intrudingly) stares at the host's house (while visiting) has sinned" [Al-Qurtubi].
