Quran Lesson - Surah Al-Isra 17, Verse 107-109, Part 15
قُلْ آمِنُوا بِهِ أَوْ لَا تُؤْمِنُوا ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ أُوتُوا الْعِلْمَ مِنْ قَبْلِهِ إِذَا يُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ يَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ سُجَّدًا . وَيَقُولُونَ سُبْحَانَ رَبِّنَا إِنْ كَانَ وَعْدُ رَبِّنَا لَمَفْعُولًا . وَيَخِرُّونَ لِلْأَذْقَانِ يَبْكُونَ وَيَزِيدُهُمْ خُشُوعًا
Say (O Muhammad ﷺ to them): “Believe in it (the Quran) or do not believe (in it). Verily! Those who were given knowledge before it (the Jews and the Christians like 'Abdullah bin Salam and Salman Al-Farisi), when it is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration.” And they say: “Glory be to our Lord! Truly, the Promise of our Lord must be fulfilled.” And they fall down on their faces weeping and it adds to their humility.
آپ ان سے کہئے: تم اس پر ایمان لاؤ یا نہ لاؤ، اس سے پہلے جن لوگوں کو علم دیا گیا ہے جب انھیں یہ قرآن پڑھ کر سنایا جاتا ہے تو وہ تھوڑیوں کے بل سجدہ میں گرپڑتے ہیں۔ اور پکار اٹھتے ہیں کہ پاک ہے ہمارا پروردگار۔ یقینا ہمارے پروردگار کا وعدہ تو پورا ہو کے رہنا ہی تھا۔ اور وہ ٹھوڑیوں کے بل روتے ہوئے گرپڑتے ہیں اور یہ قرآن ان کے خشوع کو اور بڑھا دیتا ہے۔
