DOES THE QUR'AN INDICATE THAT JESUS IS GOD AS CHRISTIANS THINK? (QUR'AN 9:31)
Main guidance on how to follow Islam: it would be better for them and all of us to read the whole of Qur'an as some verses explain one another rather than reading one verse and then trying to prove our point and also learn how prophet Muhammad (PBUH) explained.
Often they take random statement, random numbers and random Muslims names and link to Qur'an, hadith or seera, we Muslims notice this kind of false information about Islam.
We Muslims depend on Arabic language and Arabic grammar rather than translation as it's not accurate and sometimes we do rely based on Islamic teaching as sometimes Arabic language can have different meaning than Islamic explanation, e.g. hajj means purpose, intention and so on, but in Islam it's to visit the kaaba and perform there what has required from us Muslims, (hajj pilgrimage)
PROPHET MUHAMMAD IS THE TEACHER OF ISLAM SINCE HE WAS SENT BY ALMIGHTY ALLAH 👇👇👇
16:44. With clear signs and Books (We sent the Messengers). And We have also sent down unto you (O Muhammad ) the reminder and the advice (the Qur'an), that you may explain clearly to men what is sent down to them, and that they may give thought.
62:2. He it is Who sent among the unlettered ones a Messenger (Muhammad ) from among themselves, reciting to them His Verses, purifying them (from the filth of disbelief and polytheism), and teaching them the Book (this Qur'an, Islamic laws and Islamic jurisprudence) and Al-Hikmah(As-Sunnah hadith: legal ways, orders, acts of worship, etc. of Prophet Muhammad ). Chapter: Adherence To The Sunnah
Narrated Irbad ibn Sariyah:
AbdurRahman ibn Amr as-Sulami and Hujr ibn Hujr said: We came to Irbad ibn Sariyah who was among those about whom the following verse was revealed: "Nor (is there blame) on those who come to thee to be provided with mounts, and when thou saidst: "I can find no mounts for you."
We greeted him and said: We have come to see you to give healing and obtain benefit from you.
Al-Irbad said: One day the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) led us in prayer, then faced us and gave us a lengthy exhortation at which the eyes shed tears and the hearts were afraid.
A man said: Messenger of Allah! It seems as if it were a farewell exhortation, so what injunction do you give us?
He then said: I enjoin you to fear Allah, and to hear and obey even if it be an Abyssinian slave, for those of you who live after me will see great disagreement. You must then follow my sunnah and that of the rightly-guided caliphs. Hold to it and stick fast to it. Avoid novelties, for every novelty is an innovation, and every innovation is an error.

4:115. And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad ) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way. We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell - what an evil destination.
According to all those evidence I have mentioned recent, it's enough proof for everyone of us, that there is no need of any explanation from non Muslims about Islam based on their opinion as ALLAH had clearly refuted them (non Muslims) to explain about Islam generally!

Explanation
It's about Arabic grammar as there is a word in this verse 9:31, which is (و wow, it means "AND"), this word not all the time indicate that the sentence is in order or the words are in order!!
E.g. You ate first and then slept, then you said to someone "I slept and I ate so this word "AND" does not indicate the sentence to be in order, as you know that you ate first then slept.
If someone says to people "you have taken your fathers your priests as God beside ALLAH and your scholars so this does not show that scholars are God too just because he said after beside ALLAH and him and the people he is telling about this they all know that scholars are not God at all.

69:7 Which Allah imposed on them (A'd people) for "SEVEN NIGHTS AND EIGHT DAYS" in succession, so that you could see men lying overthrown (destroyed), as if they were hollow trunks of date-palms!
As you can realise ALLAH said "SEVEN NIGHT AND EIGHT DAYS," but the punishment started for them in the day and this does not show that it was night.

3:43. O Maryam (Mary)! "Submit yourself with obedience to your Lord (Allah, by worshipping none but Him Alone) and prostrate yourself, and Irka'i (bow down etc.) along with Ar-Raki'un (those who bow down etc.)."
In this verse ALLAH said prostrate and bow down, but prostration comes after bowing when we are worshiping ALLAH and performing prayer!

Imam Ahmad, At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Jarir At-Tabari recorded a Hadith via several chains of narration, from `Adi bin Hatim, may Allah be pleased with him, who became Christian during the time of Jahiliyyah. When the call of the Messenger of Allah reached his area, `Adi ran away to Ash-Sham, and his sister and several of his people were captured. The Messenger of Allah freed his sister and gave her gifts. So she went to her brother and encouraged him to become Muslim and to go to the Messenger of Allah . `Adi, who was one of the chiefs of his people (the tribe of Tai') and whose father, Hatim At-Ta'i, was known for his generosity, went to Al-Madinah. When the people announced his arrival, `Adi went to the Messenger of Allah wearing a silver cross around his neck. The Messenger of Allah recited this ayah (verse)👇👇👇
9: 31They took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah). `Adi commented, "I said, `They did not worship them.''' The Prophet said,
Yes they did. They (rabbis and monks) prohibited what is allowed for them (Christians and Jews) and allowed what is prohibited, and they obeyed them. This is how they worshipped them.) The Messenger of Allah said to `Adi,👇👇👇
O `Adi what do you say Did you run away (to Ash-Sham) so that 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is the Great) is not pronounced Do you know of anything greater than Allah What made you run away Did you run away so that `La ilaha illallah' is not pronounced Do you know of any deity worthy of worship except Allah)
The Messenger invited `Adi to embrace Islam, and he embraced Islam and pronounced the Testimony of Truth. The face of the Messenger of Allah beamed with pleasure and he said to `Adi,
(Verily, the Jews have earned the anger (of Allah) and the Christians are misguided.)
Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman, `Abdullah bin `Abbas and several others said about the explanation of,
(They took their rabbis and their monks to be their lords besides Allah...) that the Christians and Jews obeyed their monks and rabbis in whatever they allowed or prohibited for them. This is why Allah said,
9:31 while they were commanded to worship none but One God), Who, whatever He renders prohibited is the prohibited, whatever He allowed is the allowed, whatever He legislates, is to be the law followed, and whatever He decides is to be adhered to;
(None has the right to be worshipped but He. Hallowed be He above what they associate (with Him).) Meaning, exalted, sanctified, hallowed above partners, equals, aids, rivals or children, there is no deity or Lord worthy of worship except Him.
9:32. They (non Muslims) want to extinguish Allah's Light with their mouths, but Allah will not allow except that His Light should be perfected even though the disbelievers hate (it).) (33. It is He Who has sent His Messenger with guidance and the religion of truth, to make it superior over all religions even though the idolators hate (it).)
In Qur'an verse 16:44 ALLAH has clearly mentioned that prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the teacher of the Qur'an and Islam before we take others opinion and he never included Jesus when he was explaining but he stopped on beside ALLAH after he recited the verse 9:31 from the beginning and he was also mentioning to Adi the oneness of ALLAH (tawheed). Also his companions never included about Jesus when they were talking about this verse👆👆👆

'Ubadah bin As-Samit (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:
Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "He who bears witness that there is no true god except Allah, alone having no partner with Him, that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger, that 'Isa (Jesus) is His slave and Messenger and he (Jesus) is His Word which He communicated to Maryam (Mary) and His spirit which He sent to her, that Jannah (paradise) is true and Hell is true; Allah will make him enter Jannah accepting whatever deeds he accomplished".

In this hadith, the prophet is saying to us Muslims not to take him as God but believe in him only as a messenger of God and his slave, he never wanted as to believe in him as God, as Christians have taken Jesus as God for them and put him same level as God, nothing more in the hadith, but Christians would like to pleasure themselves with nothing!

Qur'an 3:79. It is not (possible) for any human being to whom Allah has given the Book and Al-Hukma (the knowledge and understanding of the laws of religion, etc.) and Prophethood to say to the people: "Be my worshippers rather than Allah's." On the contrary (he would say): "Be you Rabbaniyun (learned men of religion who practise what they know and also preach others), because you are teaching the Book, and you are studying it."
3:80. Nor would he order you to take angels and Prophets for lords (gods). Would he order you to disbelieve after you have submitted to Allah's Will?

21:66. Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Do you then worship besides Allah, things that can neither profit you, nor harm you?
21;67. "Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allah! Have you then no sense?"
21:98. Certainly! You (disbelievers) and that which you are worshipping now besides Allah, are (but) fuel for Hell! (Surely), you will enter it.
Verse 21:98 it's about non-living things, the idols and statues that they made/make as God and worship, as there is a word in this verse, which is ("MAA" ما) and is used for non-living things.

5;17. Surely, in disbelief are they who say that Allah is the Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary) . Say (O Muhammad ): "Who then has the least power against Allah, if He were to destroy the Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary), his mother, and all those who are on the earth together?" And to Allah belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them. He creates what He wills. And Allah is Able to do all things.
5:72. Surely, they have disbelieved who say: "Allah is the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary)." But the Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)] said: "O Children of Israel! Worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." Verily, whosoever sets up partners in worship with Allah, then Allah has forbidden Paradise for him, and the Fire will be his abode . And for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers.
5:73. Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allah is the third of the three (in a Trinity)." But there is no ilah (god) (none who has the right to be worshipped) but One Ilah (God -Allah). And if they cease not from what they say, verily, a painful torment will befall the disbelievers among them.
5:74. Will they not repent to Allah and ask His Forgiveness? For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
5:75. The Messiah ['Iesa (Jesus)], son of Maryam (Mary), was no more than a Messenger; many were the Messengers that passed away before him. His mother [Maryam (Mary)] was a Siddiqah [i.e. she believed in the words of Allah and His Books (see Verse 66:12)]. They both used to eat food (as any other human being, while Allah does not eat). Look how We make the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) clear to them, yet look how they are deluded away (from the truth).

9;30. And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allah's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth!

Qur'an 9:31
● There is a word in this verse ("wa و" it means "AND"), this word, not all the time shows that the sentence to be in order. At the end of this verse it also explains that Jesus is not God, as ALLAH said, "we asked them to worship only one "God" him (ALLAH)! In addition to this, this verse "AND" HE (ALLAH) is refering to the first speech.
● You said, Ahmad, Jabir, Hisham, all are wearing "blue shirt" "AND" "Salman" too, this does not mean they are wearing "Salman AND blue shirt"
● E.g. ALLAH said to Maryama (Mary) prostrate "AND" bow down with those who bow down (Qur'an 3:43) usually bowing comes before prostration as we Muslims do (Qur'an 22:77) and as prophet prayed and we are asked to do.
● ALLAH said to prophet Muhammad PBUH, "you have been inspired "AND" the prophets that came before you" (Qur'an 39:65). E.g. you ate and slept and then you said "I slept and ate food" as well. This is clear that "AND" does not prove the sentence to be in order!
● Prophet Muhammad PBUH is the teacher of the Qur'an before everyone else (Qur'an 16:44)
● Prophet said; who ever say the shahadah and believe Isa (Jesus) is the messenger of ALLAH and his slave, paradise is guaranteed for him, (die as a Muslim) (Bukhari and Muslim, Arabic/English book reference : Book 1, Hadith 412
● To believe prophet Jesus is Lord God and "TRINITY" make us non Muslims and our abode is hell (Qur'an 3:72-23.
● Prophet Jesus is slave of God and the "WE" and "US" does not prove "TRINITY" at all! (Qur'an 43:59).
● Jesus is a prophet and messenger of ALLAH (Qur'an 19:30). A prophet cannot be Lord God (Qur'an 3:79-80).
● David was called Lord (1 kings 1:2) Moses was made as God to Pharaoh (Exodus 7:1) Also SATAN is God (2 Corinthians 4:4). The supreme court is addressed as "Lord" .Lord it can be "MASTER"
● Everyone can be Lord God, but Jesus said; the only true God is the father (God) and this means all other gods are false including Jesus himself (John 17:3). There is only one God (Isaiah 45:5), Jesus claimed to have God (Mark 12:29, John 20:17).

Conclusion; If the case is how they want to be interpreted then they are 4 God in the Bible and no one can deny about as there is only God but the Bible claimed that there are 4 God👇👇👇
1: Oxodus 7:1 God of the Bible made prophet Moses to Pharaoh but we Muslims believe that Pharaoh God is Moses God to too, as there is only one God.
2: Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 6:4 Jesus and Moses both of them said and claimed to have God, by saying; "our God the Lord is one.
3: Christians believe that Jesus is God for them and Jesus claimed to have a God and that God is our God too (John 20:17)
4: 2 Corinthians 4:4 "satan" is the God of this world
The difference between God and Jesus, God is good but Jesus is not good as Jesus told us in Mark 10:18.
Jesus claimed to be a prophet of God and was sent by God
John 7:16 KJV - 16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.

And on the Day of Resurrection, he ['Iesa (Jesus)] will be a witness against them.

Jesus also told us that all others God are false God include Jesus himself!!!! In John 17:3 as he said to father (God) "YOU ARE THE ONLY TRUE GOD!"
According to Jesus own words he (Jesus) is a false God deny it or not! And he is only Christians God as they claim, not as Jesus claimed! No where Jesus said "I am God worship me" But he said to us worship God and server him alone, he also said to the devil "worship God and serve him alone (Matthew 4:1-11)
John 20:17 said; "I am going to my God and your God", so who cares what Christians say about Jesus? 🙄
We do not need Christians logic here! Jesus knows himself better than everyone else!!!
The truth has come and falsehood has vanished has vanished, for sure falsehood is a vanish (thing).
