They said to John the Baptist, "If you are not the Christ, and not Elijah - are you THAT Prophet?" [John 1:20]
Jesus said, "The Comforter, the Spirit of Truth, whom the Father will send IN MY NAME, he shall teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said unto you." [Bible - John 14:26]
And Jesus said, "A messenger will come after me, named Ahmad." [Holy Quran 61:6]
When the chief priests and Levites asked John the Baptist who he was, "Are you the "Messiah?", they hoped for. They asked him if he was, "THAT PROPHET" (Muhammad?)
1. Are you Christ? - [No]
2. Are you Elijah? - [No]
3. . . Are you THAT Prophet? - [No]
What did they mean by "That Prophet?" - We know who the "Christ" is, Christians should know "Christ" is Koine Greek word "christos," meaning in Hebrew, "Messiah."
2,000 years ago they were looking for the Messiah, and it is Jesus.
But they were also looking for "That PROPHET..."
