January 16th was a significant night. 3 things have happened.. very few people felt it
Second: Carmentalia was the feast day (11 January and 15 January) of the Roman goddess Carmenta, an ancient oracle who later was deified by the Romans. She had her temple atop Capitoline Hill. Carmenta was invoked in it as Postvorta and Antevorta, epithets which had reference to her power of looking back into the past and forward into the future. The festival was chiefly observed by women.
Third: the feast of Jesus Circumcision day (the eighth day after his born) the Eastern churches such as the Coptic Orthodox have special rituals for this day such as songs and hymns.. In the book of "Bay'ah" it is written about the days of Jesus Circumcision: after reading the ritual in Coptic and Arabic language, the high priest covers the Holy Gospel with a silk cover and hold it like Simon the priest held Jesus .. Then the high priest go around and pass by all the priests and deacons around the alter in the church, while they are singing the hymn of "Jalil Al-Umam" Then the High Priest stands at the door of the alter and everyone prostrate before the Holy Gospel and be blessed by it.
The relationship between the second and the third one is Jesus Circumcision is considered the divide between the Old and New Testament .. Special rituals are being done for this special day and they are very similar to the Greek Polytheist Doctrine.
