The belief in Pauline trinitarian nicean Christianity comes with a whole bunch of additional beliefs that most Christians don't know about.
And many of the early christian thinkers had views contrary to these beliefs, that the roman empire declared as heresy.
This is fundamentally one of the main reasons I'm not and never will be a Christian. Christian theology on the trinity and Jesus just doesn't make sense at all.
