Why is this important?
One of the hallmark symptoms of autism is an inability to to interpret and implement societal rules, norms and expectations.
They are thus less influenced or impacted by social rules and expectations and can be much more belligerent when they're told to follow them.
Thus when they make their mind up about something which violates social norms, rules, laws expectations etc. It becomes extremely difficult to convince them otherwise, near impossible.
So when they adopt asocial or antisocial tendencies and compulsions, it becomes near impossible to change their mind.
See where this is heading??...
This should be something looked into and further investigated, to ensure people receive the right treatments and assessments so the matter becomes one of prevention rather cures after the fact.
