Answering Christianity - Jesus is not God
Heb 1:8 But to the Son He says: "Your throne, O God, is forever and ever; a scepter of righteousness is the scepter of Your Kingdom.
Here, 'O God"(ω Θεε) is not found in the Greek manuscripts but only the word 'God' is in the verse without any vocative particle.
The Greek word λεγ(= Leg)=Say; while ει(= ei) =he/she/it. Therefore; Legei(λεγει)=he says/she says/it says. Context determines which to apply.
In keeping with the grammatical structure and context, the verse should read: "The God is your throne'( according to great biblical scholars such Wastcot and Hort).
the phrase 'The God is the throne of Jesus'(though in a metaphorical sense) is Just like the phrase 'God is the ROCK of David'(2samuel 22:2).
many stuff/truth are suppressed/obfuscated in scriptures, especially the biblical scripture in translation by those with a theological axe to grind(E.g the trinitarians). Many are insertions/interpolations which are not even in the Greek or hebrew script. For example: In Acts 7:59, only KJV dshonestly inserted the phrase "calling on God". Their intention was to imply that Jesus is God in the verse.
Again,
"Then Solomon sat on the throne of the LORD(Yahweh) as king instead of his father David....~1Chronicles 29:23. This is an interesting verse, which seems to agree perfectly with Revelation 3:21 where Jesus and believers are seen to also sit on the throne of God. The message "one sits on the throne of God" implies that God gives authority/control/power to such a person to rule; not that the person is physically sitting on the same Chair(throne) with God.
