They threw Prophet Yusuf (

منشورات الموجز

They threw Prophet Yusuf (AS) into a well, believing they had erased him from their lives. But Allah was not abandoning him, He was preparing him for a destiny far greater than anyone could imagine.
The story of Yusuf (AS) is one of the greatest lessons in patience (sabr), trust (tawakkul), and Allah’s perfect decree (qadr). Betrayed by his own brothers out of jealousy, left alone in the darkness of a well, sold as a slave for a few silver coins, falsely accused despite his innocence, and imprisoned for years, every chapter of his life seemed like a setback. Yet every hardship was a step toward Allah’s promise.
Allah says:
“And thus We established Joseph in the land…” (Qur’an 12:21)
Years later, Yusuf (AS) was not only freed from prison but was appointed over the storehouses of Egypt because of his wisdom, honesty, and faith.
Allah also says:
“Indeed, my Lord is Subtle in what He wills. Indeed, it is He who is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.” (Qur’an 12:100)
The well was not a punishment, it was the first step toward the palace. The prison was not the end, it was the doorway to honor. The betrayal of people could never cancel the plan of Allah.
If you are facing betrayal, hardship, delays, or pain, remember the story of Yusuf (AS). What feels like the darkest chapter of your life may be the very path Allah is using to elevate you. Remain patient, continue obeying Allah, and never lose hope in His mercy.
As Allah reminds us:
“Indeed, Allah does not allow the reward of those who do good to be lost.” (Qur’an 12:90)
No one can block the blessings Allah has written for you. Trust His timing, for He is the Best of Planners.
