 About Islam

"Recently, I’ve been considering a brother who honestly checks so many boxes.
He’s memorized the Qur’an. He's humble, our values and mindset align. I truly believe he could help me become a better wife and a better Muslim.
But I’m struggling to say that I’m not physically attracted to him.
He lives abroad, so we haven’t met in person yet. And I keep going back and forth in my head:
Will attraction grow after marriage?
Is it wrong to hope it might change over time?
Are these genuine concerns—or are waswasa magnifying flaws?
I don’t want to enter a marriage unfairly.
But I don’t want to ignore something either that might matter more than I realize.
So I’m asking those who have been there:
Is strong character enough to build a great marriage?
Do people marry hoping attraction will come later—and does it actually work?
How do you know someone is truly right for you before taking that step?”
