Converts to Islam
٥ ساعاتIn Islam, Jesus/Eissa (Peace be upon Him) son of Mariam (Mary) is a loved and esteemed man, a Prophet and Messenger calling his people to the worship of the One True God. Eissa is Jesus. Perhaps because of the difference in pronunciation, many people may not be aware that when they hear a Muslim talking about Eissa, he is actually talking about Prophet Jesus peace be upon Him.We Muslims believe Jesus?Eissa peace be upon Him was sent by Almighty Allah as a messenger and prophet, similar to Prophet Ibrahim, Prophet Musa ,Prophet Muhammad and other prophets (peace be upon them all). He is not God or the son of God, rather a human being. He never claimed to be God or the son of God. He was a beloved servant of Allah and a noble messenger (Qurʾan, 5: 116).His birth was miraculous as he had no father. There is no evidence that he was born on 25 December. We believe that Jesus was born from the Virgin Maryam with no father, and that is not impossible for Allaah Who, when He wills a thing, says “Be!” and it is. Allaah says in Quran: “Verily, the likeness of ‘Eesa (Jesus) before Allaah is the likeness of Adam. He created him from dust, then (He) said to him: ‘Be!’ — and he was”[Aal ‘Imraan 3:59]His mother is Maryam (peace be upon her). She was a devout servant of Allah who dedicated her life to His worship. He spoke miraculously as a new born baby emphasizing his Prophethood and the importance of prayer, charity and obedience of mothers (Qurʾan, 19: 30-33).He performed miracles with the will of Almighty Allah, such as healing the blind, curing leprosy and raising the dead alive (Qurʾan, 5: 110).He was raised to the heavens by Allah,He was not killed or crucified contrary to Christian belief (Qurʾan, 4: 157). He did not atone for the sins of mankind. He is alive in the heavens and will descend before the end of time in Damascus (Ṣaḥiḥ Muslim, 2937).He will establish a just and prosperous rule (Ṣaḥiḥ al-Bukhari, 2222) and follow the teachings of our Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon Him.And he will remain for as long as Allaah wills he should remain, then he will die and the Muslims will offer the funeral prayer for him and bury him.”Ahmad (9349) Classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in al-Silsilah al-Saheehah (2182)
