When people mock your faith, question your devotion, or make you feel strange for holding onto Islam, remember that your worth is not decided by their words.
Allah tells us:
“Indeed, those who say, ‘Our Lord is Allah’ and then remain steadfast — the angels will descend upon them, saying, ‘Do not fear and do not grieve, but receive the good news of Paradise which you have been promised.’”
Qur’an 41:30
So do not abandon your faith just because someone laughs at it. Do not become ashamed of your salah, your hijab, your beard, your modesty, your Qur’an, or your obedience to Allah.
The path of faith has never been promised to be free from trials. Allah says:
“Do people think they will be left to say, ‘We believe,’ and they will not be tested?”
Qur’an 29:2
When they mock you, respond with patience. When they misunderstand you, remain dignified. When you feel alone, remember that Allah sees every tear, every struggle, and every effort you make for His sake.
And keep walking.
Your goal is not to win every argument. Your goal is to remain faithful to Allah.
Allah says:
“O believers! Seek comfort in patience and prayer. Surely Allah is with those who are patient.”
Qur’an 2:153
Hold firmly to Allah. Protect your faith. Keep your heart connected to Him. Even if the world does not understand your journey, Allah knows exactly why you are walking this path.
One day, the voices that mocked you will be forgotten.
But every prayer, every moment of sabr, every temptation you resisted, and every time you chose Allah over the approval of people will remain with you.
So keep going.
Stay patient. Stay humble. Stay firm.
And never be ashamed of belonging to Islam.
