These passages raise an important theological question: Was Jesus praying to himself, or was he praying to someone distinct from himself?

MY QUESTION TO CHRISTIANS: If Jesus is God, how should we understand Jesus praying to God? And where did Jesus explicitly explain this relationship to his disciples?
